MEET CHP

Classical Handmade Products BD Ltd. (CHP) was established in 2008 in Bangladesh. The company makes sustainable, hand-woven and machine woven home furnishing products in the rural north, creating job opportunities for women and people with disabilities. For the past 15 years, CHP captured the hearts of international customers with its exquisite, handcrafted items. Born out of a shared passion for preserving traditional craftsmanship, CHP embarked on a remarkable journey. The company's expertise in creating beautifully designed, handmade products captivated the hearts of its loyal clientele, weaving tales of artistry and heritage.

CHP has broadened its global presence by entering multiple countries and establishing strong customer bases in Europe and the USA. The company serves esteemed international home decor purchasers and provides a wide selection of jute-based products that embody exceptional quality, sustainability, and timeless charm.

Located in the impoverished northern region of Bangladesh, our factories serve as vital sources of employment in areas where non-agricultural opportunities are scarce. Particularly for rural women, our rag-rug factories offer valuable job opportunities, empowering them with economic independence and stability.

CHP firmly believes that diversity is a strength that fosters greater creativity and ensures a broader range of perspectives. The empowering opportunities workshop soon became a bustling hub of creativity and innovation. Artisans in the rural northern Bangladesh, each with their unique skills and experiences, came together to create exquisite handicrafts.
