CSR

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating business model that helps a company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public. By practicing corporate social responsibility, also called corporate citizenship, companies can be conscious of the kind of impact they are having on all aspects of society, including economic, social, and environmental.

Engaging in CSR means that, in the ordinary course of business, a company is operating in ways that enhance society and the environment.

CHP recognizes its role in creating positive impacts on society and the environment. With the unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and creativity, we have an exceptional opportunity to contribute to society through our CSR initiatives. We actively contribute to the local community by supporting education initiatives in nearby schools, ensuring access to quality education for the children of its employees. In this way, we ensure that our growth and success directly benefit the wider community.

Below are some of the CSR activities and initiatives undertaken by CHP which showcases our commitment to sustainable practices and community welfare.

SDG

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.

The 17 SDGs are integrated—they recognize that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability.
